August brings schools of ultra-aggressive silver salmon to the Chuitna.  silver salmon are the most aggressive salmon. Ranging from 6-20 pounds they will keep even the most inexperienced anglers busy all day long.  Most Alaskans consider silvers the most sporting of the five salmon species.  The Chuitna provides some of the fines silver salmon fly-fishing available.
